This Gender in Agriculture Partnership Update, for COP22 now looks at gender balances in African and Latin American climate change policy – both its current status and how it can be improved in answering the question, “How can countries deliver to national commitments on gender and climate change?”
In the last two years, working through more than 300 women’s self-help groups, CSISA’s focused interventions have led to nearly 4,500 women farmers adopting new climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture practices and technologies. The Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia is led by a collaboration of CIMMYT, IFPRI, and IRRI and co-implemented by iDE.
